Trusted Leadership in the Lands of the Bible
For more than 25 years, Pastor Bob Fetterhoff has led travelers through Israel and surrounding Biblical regions with a focus on Scripture, spiritual growth, and meaningful Christian fellowship.
Why We Lead These Tours
Ohio Holy Land Tours exists to help people experience the Bible in the places where it happened.
These journeys are designed to do more than provide historical information or memorable sightseeing. Our goal is to help travelers connect the truth of Scripture to the real geography, culture, and history of the Biblical world in ways that deepen faith and strengthen understanding.
Through guided teaching, thoughtful itineraries, and meaningful time in the land of Scripture, travelers are encouraged to engage the Bible with greater clarity, confidence, and personal reflection.
For many guests, the experience becomes both spiritually renewing and deeply grounding in their understanding of God’s Word.

Meet Pastor BoBPastor Bob Fetterhoff has been leading Holy Land tours since 1995.
Bob led Grace Church in Wooster, Ohio from 1981 to 2017, serving 36 years as Senior Pastor before transitioning into the role of Pastor of Development until 2023. Through decades of ministry and travel, his focus has remained consistent: helping people understand Scripture with greater clarity by connecting the Bible to the history, geography, and culture of the land where it unfolded. Since 1995, he has guided hundreds of travelers through Israel and surrounding Biblical regions including Jordan, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, and the British Isles. His tours are designed not merely to provide historical information, but to deepen faith and help travelers apply Scripture meaningfully to everyday life. |
Bob is also the founder and Executive Director of Walk the Bible, a ministry committed to helping pastors and ministry leaders experience Israel through scholarship-supported travel and Biblical teaching resources.
He has served nationally with the Charis Fellowship of Churches for two terms and held leadership roles with ministries supporting church planting, Christian education, and future ministry leaders. He also hosts the weekday radio segment Minute with the Master and authored Walk the Bible in 30 Days, a devotional guide designed to connect believers more deeply to the land and story of Scripture.
Bob has been married to Roxanne since 1976. They have two married daughters and six grandchildren.
His ministry is built on a simple conviction:
The Bible is true, God has a plan for Israel, and understanding the land of Scripture helps bring its message to life with greater depth and clarity.

WHAT MAKES THESE TOURS DIFFERENT
More than sightseeing, these journeys are designed to help travelers engage Scripture with greater clarity, context, and spiritual reflection

How the Land Brings Scripture Into Focus
The Bible unfolded in real places shaped by geography, culture, trade routes, wilderness regions, and political tension. Standing in Jerusalem, overlooking the Sea of Galilee, or walking through places like Caesarea and Megiddo helps travelers better understand the setting behind familiar passages of Scripture. Distances become clearer. Terrain becomes more meaningful. Historical events gain perspective. For many guests, the experience strengthens both their understanding of the Bible and their confidence in its historical reliability. |
“It felt like I had been reading the Bible in black and white, and suddenly I was seeing it in color.”

A Different Kind of Holy Land Experience
Many trips to Israel focus primarily on tourism. Our approach is intentionally different. These journeys are designed to combine:
|
Travelers are not rushed from site to site simply to check locations off a list. Time is taken to connect places thoughtfully to Scripture and reflect on their spiritual significance.
For many guests, the result is not simply a memorable vacation, but a meaningful spiritual milestone.
